“Coming in third on the program was a classical “Sevillanas” couples dance with a couple of wonderful twists. The male dancer, Nicolas Mendiola, fabulously decked out in flamenco drag was instantly a hit. His partner, Zanonda Keys, a treat in all five of the pieces she appeared in, wore a black bolero hat and simple sevillanos men’s clothes. One’s eyes went to her and stayed with her in which she emoted through several of Carolé’s choreographies.”
